Engineering Permits

Driveway Access Permit
For new or additional driveway access to city and state streets please submit an application to the link above. The necessary forms are located in the Downloads section of our website.

Erosion Control Permit
For ALL developments inside City Limits with land disturbance over 0.5 acre for commercial projects and 1 acre for single family residence, please submit an application to the link above. The necessary forms are located in the Downloads section of our website.

Stormwater Permit
For ALL developments inside City Limits and inside the ETJ within the Tar Pamlico Basin with land disturbance over 0.5 acre or a net increase in 10% stormwater built upon area, please submit an application to the link above. The necessary forms are located in the Downloads section of our website.

Utility Compliance Review
For developments that are outside the City Limits and/or ETJ that want to connect to the City's Utilities.
